Tango AND everyday life.
Tango IN everyday life.
Two parallel worlds, yet so close to one another that they almost touch.
It is the here and now.
A wonderful philosophy that allows us to appreciate even the smallest moments,
because we can distinguish one from another simply by enjoying the passing instant.
Between the past and the future, that instant is life itself.
Tango can be the tool, one of those guiding threads that lead us into this “dimension.”
Can we imagine the power of this philosophy in tango?
Who knows, perhaps it may seem almost utopian.
But what value would that instant
suspended between the past and the future?
How would we experience it?
The eternal moment.
The ambiguity that plays with reality.
Simply because it happens.
I like to think that when dancing a tango,
hearts and minds can align, r
eaching such harmony that everything is reduced to that moment.
Nothing else matters anymore.
Space no longer exists.
And time…
well, time no longer holds us captive.
“The person who draws near to their goal is no longer walking
they are dancing.”
